Animated Images in Email Marketing Campaigns



Why We Like It

Boohoo.com use an animated gif to make key information ‘pop’ in their header images. This really makes their campaigns stand out against other static creatives in the inbox.

What Could be Better

This header image is quite large (although Boohoo.com are using Alt text to convey the image message) which removes a large amount of the creative when images are blocked; this image could have been made slightly smaller to limit this impact.
